While execution of any kind of projects in Bangladesh ARIF ENTERPRISE will communicate with local community to avoid all kinds of problem during project execution as per present scope.
Introduction:
The community engagement plan has been developed to guide all communications with local community, local interest groups and efficiently manage any grievance raised by the local community due to project activities. The purpose of this plan is to ensure zero work stoppage due to any community issue or grievance by keeping vendors and community people aware and involve them as per scope of work of the said project to execute smooth and un-interruption operation of the project.
Objectives:
The objectives of the plan and the key communication and engagement objectives for this project shall include:
- Collaborate with The Company to manage adjacent landowners, vendors, community, and expectations from this project.
- Provide clear and consistent information regarding the scope & nature of the work, impacts of the work and how these will manage.
- Effectively manage and respond to any site incidents, potential issues, and complaints.
- Ensure The Company is informed of any significant issues which may result in disruption or unrest or might harm the reputation of The Company.
- Facilitate active and positive relationships with key community during execution of the project.
- Provide factual, accurate and regular information to the local community throughout the project period.
- Responds promptly and timely to resolve community issues and grievances.
- Minimize the impact of the project works on the community, monitor and report on community issues and grievances following proper CE plan.
Internal Communication:
ARIF ENTERPRISE will communicate with their own project employs to aware them all kinds of community issues. If any issue arises during the project execution time, all employees are advised to engage ARIF ENTERPRISE project manager and ARIF ENTERPRISE will communicate with the Company and other respective personnel to solve the issue.
External Stakeholder Engagement:
ARIF ENTERPRISE will communicate with community leaders, Vendors and other respective people about the work scope, job scope and business opportunities before starting the project. Is there any kind of business scope ARIF ENTERPRISE will follow The Company Standard and among any of the enlisted vendors of the concerned.
Grievance Management:
ARIF ENTERPRISE will follow The Company Standard and follow instructions of the company external affairs about any kind of grievances. Also, ARIF ENTERPRISE will keep provision of compensation if there is any incident and property or environmental damage of local community.
